Kosodate Shien-in Kenshu is a municipal training course about childcare in Japan which you can complete in the short period of time.
You will receive the cerificate if you complete the training.
It is much easier than the license of Hoikushi (= National License).
This qualification gives you better benefit if you work in a type of nursery school called "Kigyo Shudo Gata Hoikuen".
Those who have Kosodate Shien-in qualification will have more credibility with parents.
Dates and Method
This may differ depending on the prefecture.
e.g. Kosodate Shien-in in Tokyo consist of 7days seminar and 2days observation training at a nursery school (2024)
e.g. Kosodate Shien-in Training in Saitama consist of 2days seminar, ondemand video watch, and 2 days observation training (2024)
The schedule for each class will be shown before so you can select the class when you make an application, however, the schedule for each class is fixed, and request for changes are not accepted usually.

(1) Overview of community-based childcare
(2) Contents of community-based childcare
(3) Operation of community-based childcare
(4) How to deal with parents in community-based childcare
(5) Orientation for observation
Usually every time after the lesson finishes, there is a small test to check your comprehension.

After those subject lessons above, you will go to a nursery school for observation training(practical tranining)
And you will write reports and submit it, and complete the whole training.
You will receive the certificate after 1~3months !(^^)!

Japanese language skill is required. Because it's all in Japanese.
Some prefecture request you to secure an observation training school by yourself.

短い期間とわずかな負担で取得できる保育分野のビギナーの方向けの資格です。
この資格を持っていると、企業主導型保育園を中心にお給料等の待遇が良くなったりします。また、保護者からの信頼が高まります。

埼玉の場合 ２日間の講習、オンデマンドビデオ視聴学習、２日間の見学実習

研修参加料金はだいたい０円～５０００円。都道府県によって異なります。

見学実習を自分で確保しなければならない都道府県もあります。
