Written Exam: August 9th (Sat) & 10th (Sun), 2025

Practical Exam: X None! (Instead, you’ll attend a 5-day practical training course)

Location: Kanagawa Prefecture (open to applicants from anywhere in Japan)

Application Period: April 4th (Fri)– May 7th (Wed), 2025

How It Helps You Pass Faster

This system allows you to take the Hoikushi exam three times per year, which means:

• You can focus on 3 subjects at a time

Suggested Success Plan

☑August 2025 – Take the Kanagawa Exam → pass 1–2 subjects
☑October 2025 – Take the Second Semester Exam → pass 2–3 subjects
☑April 2026 – Take the First Semester Exam → pass 2–3 subjects
☑August 2026 – Re-take the Kanagawa Exam for any remaining subjects

For non-native Japanese speakers, passing the language-based section is often very challeging.
But with the Kanagawa Exam, you don’t have to take a practical test—you complete a short training course instead!

 

Important Note:

To qualify via the Kanagawa exam, you’ll need to work as a Hoikushi in Kanagawa for 3 years.

From the 4th year, you will be fully licensed to work anywhere in Japan.

Don’t worry—even if you don’t work in Kanagawa, your qualification will automatically become valid nationwide after 3 years.

【緊急告知】神奈川県地域限定 保育士試験 受験のススメ！

（特に外国人の方にとって、保育士資格取得への大きなチャンスです！）

 

試験概要

• 筆記試験日： 令和7年（2025年）8月9日（土）・10日（日）
• 実技試験： なし（代わりに「5日間の実技講習会」に参加）
• 試験会場： 神奈川県内（詳細は受験票に記載）
• 全国どこにお住まいの方でも受験可能です！

申込期間： 令和7年4月4日（金）～ 5月7日（水）

 

この試験のメリット

1. 神奈川県限定試験で合格した科目は、前期・後期の保育士試験でも合格科目として認定されます。

2. 同様に、前期・後期試験で合格済みの科目は、神奈川県限定試験で再度受験する必要がありません。
➡ 年に3回、受験チャンスがあることになり、より効率的に資格取得を目指せます！

例：1年以内に筆記全科目合格も夢じゃない！

• 令和7年8月 神奈川県限定試験で1～2科目合格
• 令和7年10月 後期試験で2～3科目合格
• 令和8年4月 前期試験で2～3科目合格
• 令和8年 神奈川県限定試験で残りの科目に合格

 

実技試験がないのも大きな魅力！

一般の保育士試験では、次の3つから2つ選ぶ実技試験があります：
音楽 造形 言語

ピアノなど楽器の経験がない方、または日本語が母語でない方にとっては、実技試験が大きなハードルになります。

でもご安心ください！
神奈川県限定試験では実技試験がなく、実技講習会に参加するだけでOK！
これにより、多くの方にとって試験の負担が大幅に軽減されます。

 

 

注意点（でも心配いりません！）

この試験を通じて保育士資格を取得した場合、最初の3年間は神奈川県内で保育士として勤務することが求められます。
ただし、たとえ3年間勤務しなかったとしても、3年が経過すれば全国で保育士として勤務できる資格に自動的に切り替わります。
