Exam Format and Details: Test Subjects:
• Science (arithmetic for elementary)
• Mathematics (junior high and high school)
• Japanese language
Eligibility:
• Current ALTs, aspiring ALTs, and other foreign educators in Japan or worldwide
Test Dates:
• 1st Session: 4th Sunday in March
• 2nd Session: 4th Sunday in October
• SPECIAL 2025 Session: June 29th Test Times:
• Math (Arithmetic): 11:00am - 12:30pm
• Science: 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Test Format:
• 40 multiple-choice questions (2 points each)
• 2 writing questions (10 points each)
• 10 written Japanese language questions (2 points each)
Passing Criteria:
• Minimum 70% overall score
• At least 70% in the Japanese language section

• Saitama (Pure Engilsh Kindergarten)
• Yokohama (Ginou Kaikan)
• Osaka (L Osaka)
