Make application and the result will come at the end of May 2025.
They will send the result by postal mail so please check your mail box at the end of May.
Lesson method is mixture of online and in-person meetings.
There are several course in Tokyo Kosodate shien-in training.
Please choose 地域型保育 because this course is for the people who work in nursery schools. Other courses are different.
The flow is
1. Application (4/1~15)
2. Result (end of May)
3. If you are selected
4. Ondemand video watch (available from your device)
5. In person meeting
6. Ondemand video watch (available from your device)
7. In person meeting
8. In person meeting (CPR training )
9. 2days obsercation training at a designated nursery school
*On demand video watch= you will watch many videos on each subject,
you can watch anytime from your device, and after each subject finishes, you will have a small comprehension exam.
Fee: text book =3080 yen
CPR training mouth piece and text book =1700yen
Medical checkup = 3,000yen ~15,000yen depending on what nursery school you go for your observation training. In some ward they only request you to have stool inspeciton, but other wards they request x-ray.
You must attend all the schedules dates without absence and delay.
Eligibility: Those who live in Tokyo, or work in Tokyo.
Who have address in Japan. (Tourist visa is not acceptable)
If you are working in a nursery school you can't take your observation training in your work place.
Observation training is conducted alwayd on weekdays. (There is no saturday session)
Please understand, the day cares open basically on weekdays not on weekends. Please adjust your schedule.

Name of the classes= 保育２５...
Following next to the class is the schedule of each class.
This schedule cannot be changed.
And if you miss a class or arrive late, you will not be able to continue.
The kosodate shien administrator will place you in one of the classes you have requested, and you will attend the training according to that class schedule.How to read this table
The leftmost course 地域型保育 is the training course for daycare teachers.
Third from the left are the dates for the on-demand basic training.
If you choose Childcare 25AC1, you must finish watching all of the first assignment videos between June 10th and 19th.
The fourth, colored date is the group training.
This is the specialized training.
The next colored day after that is the group training.
The last column on the right is the schedule of the observation training. During the designated period you need to go for the observation trainings two days (usually 9:00~18:00 x 2days)
